Winter holidays in Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau
The Wiedersbergerhornbahn, one of the access points to Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, is around ten minutes away by car (about 7 kilometres). Store your skis and boots in the ground-floor storage room.
With the Alpbachtal Card, the ski bus and regional bus are included at no extra cost, as are around 70 kilometres of cross-country ski trails.
You need winter tyres to reach us in winter (see Arrival).
Summer at the Reither See and on the alpine pastures
Meadows and woods start right at the house. The Scheffachalm is a four-minute walk away. You can reach the Jausenstation Hechahof, the Bischofer Almausschank and the viewing hut on the Bischoferjoch on short hikes from the farm.
Mountain bike route 321, the Alpbachtal Panoramatour, passes the farm.
The farm’s dairy cows spend the summer on the alpine pasture.
The Reither Badesee is a natural swimming lake in the village. With the Alpbachtal Card, entry is free, as it is at the Reintalersee in Kramsach and the outdoor pools in Münster and Brixlegg.
The Reitherkogelbahn (around 6 kilometres from the farm) and the Wiedersbergerhornbahn take you up the mountain at no extra cost with the Card. The Markbachjochbahn and Schatzbergbahn in the Wildschönau are also included.
Rattenberg, the smallest town in Austria, and the Museum of Tyrolean Farms in Kramsach are nearby.
