A peaceful mountain setting above Reith im Alpbachtal
The house belongs to the Moser family’s Köcken mountain farm. The family lives in the house next door and runs the farm. In winter the dairy cows are in the neighbouring barn, and in summer they are on the alpine pasture. The farm lies at around 750 metres, surrounded by meadows and woods, with the Inn valley below.
Reith im Alpbachtal village is about five minutes away by car, and the Reither Badesee is around three kilometres away. There is a supermarket (MPreis) in the village, with more shops in Brixlegg.

Getting to Reith im Alpbachtal
Köckenhof can only be reached by car. The last five minutes are on a paved, single-track mountain road. Parking is available behind the house.
From 1 November to 15 April, winter tyres are compulsory in Tyrol depending on weather conditions. During this period, vehicles over 3.5 tonnes must carry snow chains.
Locally and on Airbnb, the farm is known as “Köcken”. If you ask for directions in the village, this name will help.
